This trip will be the most memorable dive you will ever make. In the Gulf of Mexico, off the Louisiana coast, we are fortunate to have over 3800 gulf structures. These structures provide habitat for marine life from the moment they are placed in the water. Many of these platforms have been in place for over 40 years.
The XFC crew are more than familiar with these structures and know when and where to go to ensure you a once in a lifetime experience. There is no need to travel around the world to find blue water and abundant marine life. New Orleans is your destination for the best diving in the world.
On your trip you will dive on platforms that hold countless species of fish. You will see Snapper, Grouper, Jack Crevelle, Barracuda, Trigger Fish, Tarpon, Manta Rays and, on some occasions, Whale Sharks. This is to name only a few, along with many tropical fishes that you would usually see in the Caribbean. You will also see many exotic Corals and Sponges that have attached to the structures along with Spiny Lobsters and Octopus.
