   Duck hunting in Louisiana is simply marvelous. There are few places that can compare. The season starts in mid-September with Teal season. These are quick moving birds that give the gunner a challenging target. Bluewing, Greenwing and Cinnamon Teal are very common and are a treat once they hit the skillet. XFC offers Teal hunts and Cobia fishing trips that take place on the same day due to the migration patterns of both species.


   November thru January expect to look down your barrel at Greys, Widgeon, Teal, Black Ducks, Red Heads, Canvasbacks, Woodies, Mallards and Geese to add a little more excitement to your hunt. Waterfowl find plenty of food sources in our lush wetlands including a sense of security due to the surroundings.

XFC offers the hunter a choice of large flatboats or airboats. Our fully equipped skiffs, that sleep 6 comfortably, allow you and your gang an overnight trip with quick access to the blind in the morning.


   If your crew is not confident in calling the birds down...not to worry. Our Captains and guides have a lifetime of knowledge and experience to bluff the birds within firing range.


It is common to kill your limit due to the large swarms of duck that frequent our state on a yearly basis. XFC offers a variety of accomodations and hunts to match...from camps to camping under the midnight sky.
